A Festival for Science Lovers

In a new springtime tradition, curious people of all ages flock to The University of Texas at Austin and its partner sites to meet up with scientists, enjoy hands-on demos and experience art, film and performance inspired by science. It all takes place at the multi-day Texas Science Festival. The fest includes in-person events that draw thousands, like the family-friendly STEM Girl Day, and cozier alternatives for the grown-ups, with “science night out” events at local pubs, movie houses and a winery. There are also virtual offerings accessible from anywhere, from talks with experts to live telescope viewings. This annual open house for science is slated to return with new experiences of discovery, learning and curiosity-driven joy in February
