A Festival for Science Lovers

In a new springtime tradition, curious people of all ages flock to The University of Texas at Austin and its partner sites to meet up with scientists, enjoy hands-on demos and experience art, film and performance inspired by science. It all takes place at the multi-day Texas Science Festival. The fest includes in-person events that draw thousands, like the family-friendly STEM Girl Day, and cozier alternatives for the grown-ups, with “science night out” events at local pubs, movie houses and a winery. There are also virtual offerings accessible from anywhere, from talks with experts to live telescope viewings.
